10 Life Changing Hair Hacks

Well I personally struggle with my curly,unmanageable hair a LOT therefore I am sharing these 10 hair hacks that will help you out with your unmanageable hair. Keep reading....
1. Keep your ponytail from slagging
Most of the girls love to tie their hair in a pony. But we all hate when it keeps slagging.
So here's a trick, use bobby pins to keep your pony from slagging without really trying at all.
How to do it:
Tie your hair in a pony tail as you normally would. Take 2 bobby pins and tuck 'em inside your hair tie vertically. This gives a nice lift to your pony and will prevent your pony from slagging.
2. Use T-shirt instead of a rough towel
The material of T-shirt is softer than the towel which reduces frizz. Using a rough towel will lead to more dry and frizzy hair. This hack is excellent for girls with curly hair.
How to do it:
First squeeze out the excess water from your hair using a t-shirt and then wrap the end of your hair in the shirt as shown in the picture. This will reduce the frizziness of your hair.
3. Use baby powder and cornstarch as a dry shampoo.
Ran out of your dry shampoo? don't worry, here's a hack for the girls like me who are way too lazy to go to the market to buy a new one. Baby powder or cornstarch work best as a dry shampoo.
How to do it:
Section your hair and apply small amount of baby powder or cornstarch on your greasy roots.Keep it for a minute or more but do not keep it for more than fifteen minutes and then brush it out. And guess what? no one will ever find out that you did not wash your hair.
3. Make your pony look bigger and fuller
Want to give people an illusion with your hair? Here's this hack of making your pony look bigger.
This hack is great for girls who love long hair but have short hair maybe because their hairdresser went overboard with cutting their hair too short LOL.
How to do it:
Divide your hair in two sections. Upper and lower. Take the lower section and tie it as show in the picture below. Now tie the upper part in a ponytail as you normally would, this creates an illusion and people will think that you have long hair.
4. Wrap your hair in different ways to produce different curls
Tired of your monotonous curly or straight hair? Here is a small picture tutorial for you which shows how to create different curls.
How to do it:
Wrap your hair in different ways around your hair curler and it will produce different curls/waves as shown in the picture below.
1.Twist your hair on the tips and keep the root hair as it is and then wrap your hair around your curler this will create a typical Victoria's secret angel curls.
2.Twist your hair form roots to the tips and then wrap around your curler. This will give you Little Mermaid curls.
3.Wrap your hair normally around your curler but do not twist it. This will give you a Shirley Temple look.(google if you don't know who Shirley Temple is)
These different types of curls instantly lifts your looks.
5. Use bobby pins correctly
Raise your hand if you too wear bobby pin with the groovy part on the upper side. Well that is WRONG. Its time to turn it upside down and use it correctly (my whole life was a lie 😐)
Now you would ask me why do we have to do this? I have the answer for you. The groovy part gives a more tight grip and prevents the bobby pin from slipping down your hair.
How to do it:
Take a bobby pin a tuck it in your hair with the groovy part facing downwards and it'll prevent the bobby pin from sliding down.
6. Use bobby pins as your hair accessory
Now that you know how to wear bobby pins correctly, its time for you to use 'em as hair accessory as shown in the pictures below. Why to spend hundreds on hair accessories when you have bobby pins? In the picture below there are different ways in which you can style your bobby pins as hair accessory.
7. Get those beautiful beachy waves
Tired of wasting hours and still not getting the imperfectly perfect beachy waves? well i've got a hack for you which will help you get beautiful beachy waves in less than 15 minutes!
How to do it:
Section your hair in two parts, now start braiding 'em. Braid normally with 3 sections of hair, we don't need any perfect or complex braid, just a normal regular braid. Then take your flat iron and start pressing it over your braids to get 'em imperfectly perfect beachy waves!
This takes less than 15 minutes and give you BEAUTIFUL WAVES.
8. Say bye to those stubborn fly aways
This is one of my favorite hack. Who all can relate to the struggle with fly aways? the struggle is REAL, but no more 😉 say bye to those stubborn fly aways with this small hack which includes hairspray and a toothbrush.
How to do it:
Take a hairspray and spray it on an old toothbrush. Brush the hairline or wherever you have those fly aways with this toothbrush to tame and keep 'em in place.
BYE little fly aways 😏
9. The Pineappling trick
Now this is one hack I swear by. This hack is for my curly hair girls who get frizzy hair after they wash their hair every damn time. This trick includes tying your hair in a loose bun.
How to do it:
First wash your hair as you normally would, then while drying your hair, tie your hair in a loose bun or a ponytail on top of your head, this is called 'pineappling'. This prevents gravity from pulling your curls down and causing frizz.
This hack is a boon for curly haired girls 😊
10. Make your hair smell Ah-mazing
This is my all time favorite hack. Want your hair to smell great everyday? then try this hack in which you spray scent on your hair.
How to do it:
Spritz your hairbrush with your favorite perfume and then gently brush your hair through. Viola! your hair will smell as good as your perfume 😂
