10 Hacks To Make Your Eyes Look Bigger

Before proceeding to write the blog I would like to mention that no matter what kind of eyes you have small, hooded, drowsy, dull or you know any kind of eyes, YOU are beautiful! and this blog is just an attempt to making already good things slightly better, because these hacks are going to give you slightly bigger looking and amazing eyes.
Everyone loves big, wide and beautiful eyes. There is always something so good about those flattering eyes, that you just cannot resist to look right into 'em. There's always something or the other we're doing in order to make our eyes look bigger and beautiful. Makeup plays a major role in this. The thing about power of makeup is that there is always a way to have things that you don't have. You know what I mean right? So if you're one of the folks who have small eyeballs and wanna make 'em look big and wide, girl I feel you and I got you. You're on the right page. I am about to share some eye opening (literally!) hacks that will help you achieve those beautiful, BEAUTIFUL, bigger and wider eyes. So without further ado let's get started.
1. Curl your lashes
Curling your eyelashes makes a HUGE difference. Curling your lashes not only makes your eyes look big but also it helps to make you lashes look longer. It simply gives you a more open and wider look. Curling your lashes is super easy, you just need an eyelash curler, that's it.
How to do it:
Just hold your curler as you normally hold a pair of scissors. Keep your eyes wide open. Take the curler and place it just as close to the lash-line as you can and then gently start squeezing the curler. Do this 4-5 times until you're able to see the difference between both your eyes, the one which you've not curled and the one you just curled and once you see the difference just stop. This is one of the most easiest ways to make your eyes + lashes look bigger.
2. Follow your crease
We'll have to take help of makeup in this hack. The hack is simple you'll need an eyeshadow for it. Now the thing in this hack is to follow your crease. So what exactly is a crease? Crease is the skin that unfolds when you close your eyes,on the bottom of your brow bone. The small gap or a place where you can feel the end of your eye ball (if that makes sense). Just follow the crease and you can instantly get bigger eyes.
How to do it:
Just take any dark color from your eyeshadow palette. I usually prefer dark brown color. Choose a color which is 2-3 shades darker than your skin tone. Black also makes a good crease color, but it depends totally on you as to which color you like more. So just take any dark color of your choice and just start applying along your crease. This will create a shadow on the eyes making your eyes look bigger, but don't forget to add eyeshadow of lighter shades to other parts of the eyelid and then blend it properly. This is a great hack and you can use it when you go to any party.
3. Switch your eyeliner/kajal from black to white
Using right color of eyeliner/kajal on your waterline is very important so as to make your eyes look bigger. Switching your eyeliner/kajal from black to white can be a game changer. In addition to this you'll get a new look. Now I know the fact that most of the Indian girls are afraid to change the color of their kajal,but its time to try something new, instead of using the same thing everyday just switch up to these other small things which can be a total game changer, and if they help in making your eyes look bigger you should just go for it.
How to do it:
Just take your white kajal pencil or white eyeliner and start lining your waterline with it as you would normally do with your black kajal or liner and you'll be able to see a big difference. Just give it a try.You'll love it.
4. Highlight
The next hack to make your eyes look bigger is to use a highlighter. It is super easy and gives you a glowy and dewy look. You should always use a highlighter on your eyes not only to make 'em look big but to get that dewy and shiny look on the eyes. You'll need a highlighter or an eyeshadow that is a shade or two lighter than your skin tone. Eyeshadow can be used as a substitute for highlighter (but make sure its shimmery)
How to do it:
Just any highlighter or eyeshadow of you choice (shimmery and a shade or two lighter than your skin tone) and apply it to the inner corners of the eye and below your brow bone with the help of a small brush. This not only makes your eyes look wider it also gives your eyes a glow and shine. This hack is great for a night party. However if you want you can create this look for a daytime party, but you'll have to use a little less amount of highlighter and you're good to go!
5. Tightline your eyes
Tightlining is one of the best methods to make your eyes look bigger. But what does tightlining your eyes means? Tightlining is nothing but to apply your eyeliner or kajal beneath your lashes. Yes, we all usually apply liners or kajals on our waterline but in order to make the eyes look bigger and wider tightlining your eyes is very important. It is also known as invisible liner as it gives you a look like you actually have a liner on, but you can't find as exactly where is it applied. Now what this tightlining does is that it not only makes your eyes look bigger but also it makes your lashes look longer and fuller. You'll just need an eyeliner or a kajal, but it should be black in color, no other color allowed for tightlining.
How to do it:
Gently lift your lashes upwards. You'll see tiny gaps between your lash hair, now take any eyeliner and kajal (black) of your choice and start filling those gaps with the help of your liner or kajal. Go all the way from your outer corners to the inner corners of your eyes. Repeat 2 times to make it look darker, to make it look more intense you can also apply it to your waterline. But make sure that the tip of you liner and kajal is clean, if it s not clean all the bacteria and germs may enter in your eyes which may lead to infection in your eyes. Be extremely careful while doing this.
6. Apply falsies
Now this is very obvious. Applying falsies makes a drastic change in your look. It makes your eyes look big and more open. You don't need to line your eyes. Just apply falsies and you're good to go, but make sure you're applying the right size of falsies otherwise it'll make your eyes droop down and you don't want that right? Now choosing the shape and size depends completely on you. There are hundreds of sizes and shapes available in every brand. You have to choose yourself according to the size and shape of your eyes.
How to do it:
First and the foremost, make sure your hands are clean. Make sure you wash your hands before applying falsies. Now hold your fake lashes using a tweezer. Now apply any adhesive of your choice, wait for 15 seconds and now apply those falsies directly on your eyes and make sure it sticks properly on your lashes. You can add eyeliner on top of it to complete the look but its totally okay to keep it like that.
7. Sweep your mascara in the right way
Yes, you heard it right, there is a right way in sweeping a mascara. I in my entire before finding this hack out have swept my mascara in a wrong way. Now you'll tell me that there is no such thing as " a right way" in applying mascara, but there is, why do we apply mascara? to make our lashes look big, and when our lashes look big our eyes automatically tends to look big, but only if we do it correctly.
How to do it:
Take your mascara wand, and now instead of sweeping it in upward direction sweep it in the direction of your nose. Apply 2-3 coats of mascara in the same direction. This will help your lashes looking fuller which will in-turn help your eyes look bigger and wider.
8. Apply eyeliner
Well this is pretty obvious right? but many ladies tend to skip this step, remember a good lined eyes can make or break your look. So if y'all wanna slay and make your eyes look pretty and big, then make sure you line your eyes perfectly.
How to do it:
Take any eyeliner of your choice (I suggest black liquid or gel liner) and start by lightly lining the upper lid from the inner corner going all the way to the outer corner. Apply the eyeliner a little heavier on the outside corners to make your eyes look longer and bigger rather than rounded, and you're good to go!
9. Shape your eyebrows correctly
Now eyebrows are something that can make or break your look. Bold brows are in trend right now (whether you like it or not) Giving a good shape to your brows can make a whole lot of difference which in turn will make your eyes look bigger (try yourself) but you should shape them correctly in order to get the perfect look.
How to do it:
Now the first and the foremost tip is to follow your natural brow shape. Take a brow powder or pencil which is a shade lighter than your brows, suppose you have black colored brows, use dark brown color and start shaping your brows according to your brow shape with a very light hand. 10. Apply eyeshadow to lower lash line
Applying a dark eyeshadow on your lower lash line can make a whole lot of difference, but you have to do it in a correct way or else you will end up looking like a panda. It is super easy and will make your eyes look big and gorg!
How to do it:
Take any dark shade eyeshadow (brown or black) on a small brush and start applying it on your lower lash line from the outer corner to the middle of the lash line. You can go all the way up to the inner corner of your eyes. I usually prefer going upto the middle, and voila! your done. Believe me this makes a huge difference all together.
